What is CaribbeanFood.ca and how does it work?

CaribbeanFood.ca is an online delivery service that brings Caribbean food and products right to your home or business.  

Customers can:

  3. Receive their order in 48 - 72 hours - Easy, safe and secure.

Do I need to create an account to place an online grocery order?

 

No account or membership needed. Go ahead and browse through the website, create your orders and get them delivered.

For customized orders, bulk shipments, e-transfer or special cases; email info@caribbeanfood.ca.

 

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept the following forms of payment:

Is there a minimum order value when placing an order?

No, there are no minimum orders, however it is not very efficient for our delivery driver to bring very small orders, your discretion is truly appreciated and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes.  You have one 3 hours from the time the order was first place to cancel your order. 

 

Can I make a change to my order once it is placed (i.e., add/remove products and/or quantities)?

Yes.  You have one 3 hours from the time the order was first place to make any changes. Please contact us via email info@caribbeanfood.ca and we will accommodate your request.

 

A local store has an item on sale, can I price match that item?

We might be able to price match depending on the wholesale items and/or case amount. We strive to offer very competitive pricing on single items also.

 

Are taxes included in the prices listed online?

All applicable taxes will be applied at Checkout. 

 

How do I check product availability?

If you cannot find a product on our website using the search function or if a specific product is listed as “sold out”, send us an email at info@caribbeanfood.ca and we can provide you with an update.

Are items purchased in bulk eligible for a discount?

Yes, buying by cases and pallets of products will see bigger discounts (unless specified otherwise).

 

How do I know if my order has been received?

An order confirmation will be generated and sent to the email address you provide at checkout. See your Spam or Junk folder if the email hasn’t arrived within an hour. 

 

What cities do you deliver to?

We are currently focused on The Greater Toronto Area. As our delivery and logistics fleet grow, we will expand to all Ontario & Canada.

Is there a fee for delivery?

Yes, all orders will be charged a fee for delivery to your location. Bulk order delivery fees may vary depending on location - email info@caribbeanfood.ca for quotes.

When can I expect my order?

All orders are delivered Monday to Saturday, between 4 pm – 9 pm. 

Please note: we do not deliver on Sundays, therefore, orders placed on Saturdays, will be delivered on a weekday.

What happens if there are hazardous road conditions?

 

The safety of our customers as well as our staff is of upmost importance, and we would never willingly put anyone at risk.  Therefore, there will be occasions when deliveries will need to be rescheduled due to weather.  In these instances, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options.  

 

Am I to provide a tip to my delivery driver?

You are welcome to give your delivery driver a tip.  They keep 100% of tips received.

I want to leave a review. Where can I do this?

You can leave us a review directly on our website by clicking the review pop-up button or you can review us on Google.  We greatly appreciate your comments and feedback!

Is your website safe and secure?

Please be assured that our website is secure and your credit card information is encrypted. 

Will my personal information be shared or sold?

No.  Personal information of our clients will not be sold.  To review how we use your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.

 

What do I do if my items are damaged and/or missing?

If any items are missing or damaged, please email us at info@caribbeanfood.ca. 

For damaged products, please include a photo of the item(s). Be sure to include the purchaser’s full name and order number in your correspondence. Once we verify your order details, a refund will be issued for the item(s) in question.

 

What is your return and exchange policy?

Please review our full return and exchange policy
